Although the process takes time and requires lots of hard work, the plan is quite simple.

The 4 Steps That Transform Vegans Into Superheros:

  1. Train with heavy weights
  2. Optimize your body composition with macros
  3. Get plenty of rest
  4. Master your mindset

Let’s briefly cover each step in more detail.

Step 1: Train with heavy weights

If you want to be as strong and ripped as a Superhero, you MUST focus on lifting heavy weights.

Compound exercises like the squat, deadlift, bench press, and shoulder press will help you build muscle and strength more quickly than any other training programs.

And yes, heavy weightlifting is for women too!

I only spend about 6 hours in the gym every week, so don’t think that you need to spend tons of time in the gym every day to get Superhero fit.

Step 2: Optimize your body composition with macros

Macronutrients, often referred to as “macros,” are substances required in large amounts in the human diet. There are three primary macronutrients that the human body needs in order to function properly: protein, carbohydrates, and fat.

The most important macronutrient for Vegan Superheros is protein. Many vegans struggle to build muscle because their protein intake is too low.

Thankfully, ALL plants have protein! Yes, every vegan food from bananas to lettuce to raisins contains protein.

All plant protein is “complete” and there is no need for “protein combining,” but some plant proteins are better than others for building muscle.

Step 3: Get plenty of rest!

One of the most common problems with the many weightlifting programs out there is they simply have you doing too much, whether in individual workouts or in total weekly training volume.

People who have fallen into this bad habit need to realize that if they did less of the right thing, they would get more.

Step 4: Master your mind

Having the right training plan and nutrition plan is crucial to fitness success, but they are useless without the right mental attitude.

Most people who start a workout plan or diet end up quitting a few days, weeks, or even months later. They might have the right plan, but they don’t have the dedication that a strong mind creates.

You absolutely MUST master your mind to push through the pain and stick with the plan.
