I Reclaimed My Life with the Vegan Superhero Academy

I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life. I was the person who jumped from one fad diet to the next, losing 20 pounds only to gain it all back once the diet was over. Deep down, I knew none of it was sustainable, but I didn’t know how else to manage my health. Then in 2018, my world turned upside down. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. It wasn’t genetic—it was a direct reflection of my diet and lifestyle. I’d spent most of my life eating red meat, heavy carbs, fried everything, and processed foods. It all finally caught up to me.

After my cancer treatment, my doctor encouraged me to try a whole-food, plant-based diet to support my healing. I remember thinking, “You’re asking me to give up meat and dairy overnight? Impossible.” But as daunting as it seemed, I decided to give it a try.

That’s when I discovered the Vegan Gym on Instagram. Anders reached out to me and started asking questions—questions that made me reflect deeply on my diet, my lifestyle, and my goals. And I can run a mile in 10 minutes, something I never thought I could do. My body has transformed in ways I didn’t think were possible. I’ve lost inches across my chest, waist, hips, thighs, and arms. But the most profound transformation has been how I feel about myself. I feel strong, capable, and confident in my own skin.

The program didn’t just change how I look—it changed how I live. For 90 days, I lived, ate, and breathed the Vegan Superhero Academy. From the yoga sessions to Leif’s workshops and the supportive community, every aspect of the program felt like it was designed just for me. The coaches weren’t just doing their jobs; they made it their mission to see me succeed. Anders listened to every concern I had and came back with thoughtful solutions that showed me how much he truly cared.
