Role Overview
This role is one of the most important on our team! As a Sales Setter, you are often the first person from our team with whom potential clients speak. Your role is to help identify and guide qualified prospects into our Vegan Superhero Academy coaching program through our sales process.
As a Sales Setter, you will chat via instant message (using Facebook, Instagram, email, and other platforms) with vegans (and vegan-curious people) to discuss their plant-based health and fitness goals. If we can help them accomplish their vegan health and fitness goals, and they are interested in 1-on-1 coaching, then you will help them book a call with our Sales Team.
Please note: This position would start as a part-time role and scale to a full-time position over the course of 4 to 6 months as we scale our lead flow. You would need to work 4- or 5-hour shifts between the hours of 3 pm to 8 pm EST. As you scale to full-time, you are welcome to maintain another part-time position to supplement your income as long as it does not interfere with your performance. This position must become your sole work focus once you reach full-time. We currently have two full-time and one part-time Sales Setters.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Setter, you will serve a critical role in helping potential Vegan Superhero Academy clients overcome their limiting beliefs and transform their bodies and lives forever. Below are some specific responsibilities for this important position.
Lead Engagement:
Proactively engage with potential leads through various channels such as Instagram, Facebook, email, and text, initiating conversations in a friendly and professional manner.
Utilize effective communication techniques to create a welcoming environment for potential clients to share their goals, needs, and challenges.
Goal, Need, and Challenge Assessment:
Conduct detailed discussions to thoroughly understand each lead's health, nutrition, and fitness goals, their current challenges in their plant-based health and fitness journey, and their specific potential needs from a coaching program.
Ask insightful questions that help uncover deeper motivations and any hesitations leads might have about committing to a coaching program.
Program Fit Evaluation:
Use the information gathered from discussions to evaluate whether the Vegan Superhero Academy's customized coaching approach is the right fit for the lead's goals and needs.
Apply a deep understanding of the Academy's coaching methodologies, success stories, and the unique benefits of its supportive community to make informed fit assessments.
Sales Call Scheduling:
For leads determined to be a good fit for the Academy, explain the next steps in the process and assist them in booking a Superhero Call (our name for our sales calls) with one of our Success Coaches (our name for sales representatives).
Provide leads with all necessary information to prepare them for the sales call, including what to expect, how to prepare, and any initial documentation they might need to review.
Direction and Referral for Non-Fits:
For leads not deemed a good fit for the Academy, provide courteous and constructive feedback, and when possible, offer recommendations for other resources, programs, or directions that might better serve their needs.
Maintain a positive and helpful demeanor, ensuring that every interaction ends on a good note, reflecting well on the Vegan Superhero Academy's commitment to genuinely helping everyone.
Lead Tracking and Documentation:
Accurately document all interactions with leads in our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, including detailed notes on the discussions about their goals, needs, and the outcome of the fit evaluation.
Update lead status promptly, categorizing them appropriately for follow-up actions, whether for sales call scheduling or for referrals out.
Feedback and Continuous Improvement:
Collect and report feedback from leads about their engagement experience, using insights to continuously refine engagement strategies and communication techniques.
Collaborate with our Sales Team to ensure messaging aligns with the Academy's values and effectively attracts the right leads.
Team Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with Success Coaches to ensure a smooth transition of leads into the sales pipeline, sharing insights and key information that will assist in tailoring the sales approach to each lead's needs.
Participate in regular team meetings to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in the lead generation and engagement process.
Requirements

Be able to type 50+ words per minute
Be an excellent communicator with stellar English grammar.
Have an understanding of sales principles, techniques, and strategies, and human behavior.
Must have access to high-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free environment during all working hours. Must be able to focus and not get distracted.
Be knowledgeable in sales tools and technologies (such as CRMs), possess the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities, and have strong negotiation and communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
Have effective time management and organizational skills, the ability to multitask with a proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively, quickly switch between tasks when necessary, meet deadlines, and maintain a structured and efficient workflow.
Some basic fitness and plant-based nutrition knowledge is highly preferred and will help you succeed, but it is not required.
Have a HUGE passion for helping people transform their lives. This is not a "9-5 job.” This is something you need to commit to fully.
Note: Part-time hours would be approximately 20 hours per week. Full-time hours would be 40-50 hours per week.
Note: You will need to work over the weekend. You would have two days off during the weekdays.

COMPENSATION
This is a SALARY + BONUS role with unlimited earning potential. For your part-time position, you will be paid an hourly wage of $20.00 with performance bonuses. Once you transition to a full-time role, you will receive a base salary of $45,000 with quarterly bonuses based on performance.
