Hello VSA family! We are overjoyed to introduce not one, but two powerful additions to our training tools — the Superhero Success Tracker and the Hevy app. These tools are designed to supercharge your fitness journey, making tracking, measuring, and achieving your vegan fitness goals more efficient and inspiring than ever.
The Superhero Success Tracker, an interactive and user-friendly tool, will revolutionize how you monitor your progress. This incredible system allows you to log your daily data, analyze patterns, and visually map your journey to success.
Alongside the Superhero Success Tracker, the Hevy app brings a dynamic way to track your exercises, fostering more direct communication with your coach and promoting community engagement.

In the following sections, we'll detail how to get the best out of these powerful new tools. Let's dive in!
We’ll start with one of the most powerful features of the Superhero Success Tracker, the "Daily Tracker" tab. Here's where you'll be inputting the day-to-day data that fuels your progress and helps your VScore evolve. We recommend logging certain data like your body weight and how much sleep you got first thing in the morning and other things like calories and grams of protein before you go to bed. Learn more specifics and hear some suggestions on how to get the most out of this tab here.
Next, let’s focus on the “Weekly Check-In.” Take a moment once a week to reflect on your progress. We recommend dedicating around 10-20 minutes every week to thoughtfully respond to these prompts. It's a small investment of time that can yield significant insights for our coaching team, which will help them give you an amazing experience. Your weekly check-in is a powerful compass, pointing you and your coach towards continuous improvement and achievement.
Now that you are comfortable with daily tracking and your weekly check-ins, let’s explore your dashboard! Here, you'll see your "VScore," a dynamic indicator of your progress. As you input your daily data, watch your VScore evolve - it's a clear, visual representation of your hard-earned progress! In essence, your VScore is a measure of how consistent you are with your activity (exercise + step count), nutrition, and tracking.
You'll also see our badge system. This is another fun and motivating way to track your journey and celebrate your achievements. These badges span different categories and levels - check them out below.
Head over to the "Hunger Tracker" tab, where you can log your hunger levels before and after each meal. This is an essential step in you and your coach becoming more attuned to your body’s needs. We recommend doing this as you go about your day so you don’t forget what you were feeling before and after each meal. Not sure how to rate your hunger? Take a look at the legend at the top left - it will guide you! Check out a more detailed hunger and fullness scale below!
Next, take a look at your “Progress Graphs” tab. These visuals offer you a quick, at-a-glance understanding of your progress over time. One example is a graph that compares your weight and calories over time, providing an easily digestible view of how your caloric intake affects your weight.
Lastly, we have a place for you to input your measurements in the “Weekly Tracker” tab. Starting off bi-weekly, you'll then move to logging these about once a month. It's all part of making your progress measurable and your goals achievable.
While the Superhero Success Tracker is your go-to for most of your data, we also have a partner for tracking your exercises - the Hevy app. Check below as we dive into how to use Hevy.
With Hevy, you’ll be able to intuitively log your workouts, analyze your progress, and share your triumphs with the VSA community. It's the perfect companion to the Superhero Success Tracker, helping you to further streamline and optimize your vegan fitness journey.
Here's how you can get started with Hevy:
First off, you'll receive an invitation via email from your coach. Look for this in your inbox and accept the invitation.
Next, download the Hevy app from your device's app store and create your username and password. While setting up your profile, make sure you input your first and last name so it’s easier for coaches to connect with you.
Hevy is designed with a simple, user-friendly interface divided into four main sections: Home, Workout, Coach, and Profile.
In the "Home" section, you can connect with people you know, meet others who share your fitness goals, and see their posts. It's your window to the vibrant Hevy community.
The "Workout" section is where you'll log your efforts. Here, you can start a workout, add your exercises as you go, create routines for future reference, and even discover routines that other Hevy users have shared.
In the "Coach" section, you'll find the routines that your coach has assigned to you. It's like having your coach right in your pocket!
Lastly, the "Profile" section is your personal fitness journal within Hevy. Here, you can track your progress over time, personalize your account with a profile picture, and share a short bio about your fitness journey.
Remember, while you'll track exercises and workouts in Hevy, all other aspects of your fitness journey will be logged in the Superhero Success Tracker. This combination of Hevy and the Superhero Success Tracker will provide a comprehensive overview of your progress, setting you on a clear path towards conquering your vegan fitness goals!
