VIDEOGRAPHER (In Training)

We are looking for someone with basic filming and/or photography experience who wants to pursue a career in spreading veganism through evidence-based content and powerful storytelling. We will invest our time and resources in helping you become a kickass videographer, but you MUST be highly self-motivated and hungry to learn and grow. You will be expected to level up your skills beyond our help through YouTube tutorials and trial and error.

Job description

This is a full-time, (mostly) remote position. In this position, you will be part of our Content Team working to spread our message and help as many vegans as possible. You will begin as a videographer assistant, helping out on sets, soaking up knowledge as fast as you can, and working on entry-level filming and editing work. As you grow into a lead videographer role, you will be responsible for filming and editing content for YouTube and social media (we will fly you to our film sets around the US) and documenting our in-person events, such as our awesome Vegan Superhero Retreats! You will be an integral part of a rapidly-growing team on a mission to change the world! 🙌

What you will be doing in this role MATTERS. Our 1-on-1 online vegan nutrition and fitness coaching program, the Vegan Superhero Academy, is changing thousands of lives and making a massive impact in the world by helping to spread veganism. You can directly transform lives in this position and play a critical role in spreading the vegan message!

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you MUST:

  • Be vegan

  • Live in the US

  • Have an extremely high level of work ethic

  • Have access to high-speed internet during all working hours

  • You MUST be willing to travel for filming around the US. You can expect to travel 5-10 days every 1-2 months for filming.

COMPENSATION

You will start in this position at a salary of $45,000 USD with plenty of upward earning potential as you improve your skills. All compensation will be paid twice monthly (on the 1st and 15th).
