Ingredients

  • Large raw beet (200g) (about 1 cup), peeled and cut into chunks

  • 100 g cooked black beans (canned)

  • Quarter cup soy sauce

  • 44 ml water 

  • 1 tbsp natural peanut butter 

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 100 grams of pulsed TVP

  • Slider buns

  • Toppings, etc.

Directions

  1. Add all of the ingredients except pulsed TVP to a food processor. Pulse, stopping to scrape the sides until everything is mixed together into a mush. Add in TVP and then pulse until it is a crumbly dough

  2. Divide the dough into mini sliders!

  3. Pan-fry them or grill them for a couple of minutes per side until browned and heated through. Place on a bun and top with your favorite vegan burger toppings.
