Coach tom’s Story
Tom has been a vegan since 2019 after both watching “The Game Changers” documentary and simultaneously reflecting on his own gradual weight gain. Reading “The China Study” and “How not to die” solidified a decision to try veganism for a month and he’s not gone back since!
These life-style changes led Tom to lose 60lbs, fall in love with health and fitness and move away from his 10 years of high school teaching and education to build a career and passion for teaching and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
As both a level 3 Personal Trainer and a level 1 and 2 CrossFit coach Tom has a passion for olympic weightlifting and gymnastics and loves nothing more than throwing a barbell around or hanging off a rig. He has coached both groups and individuals towards their goals and loves making fitness the best hour of the day for his clients.
Outside of the gym, Tom lives in the UK with his wife, 2 young girls and their family dog Buddy. He is also a musician and can often be found playing double bass, saxophone or piano at gigs and theatre shows, or in his home workshop building furniture.
Tom’s coaching foundation is built upon his own experience with his personal barriers to weight-loss and fitness. He understands that everyone can have their own challenges but he maintains an unwavering enthusiasm that these are surmountable, and wants nothing more than to help people fall in love with themselves and their own health and fitness journey.
